HUNTINGTON VILLAGE, NY – June 1, 2007 – Blondes of every hue will be getting plenty of attention on the beach this spring and summer, making a splash with new “baby blonde” coloring. Spa Adriana, an Aveda lifestyle salon and spa, has created “Coast Line Blondes,” a series of sunkissed haircolor designed to make any brunette, blonde or redhead shine this season.
“The new trend for spring/summer 2007 is a ‘baby blonde.’ It features a beautiful translucency within the main color – almost a tone-on-tone – to produce a multi-hued, very dimensional kind of look,” said Adriana Vater, Creative Director, Spa Adriana. “This trend is a far cry from last season’s striped look, where we saw bold bright colors striped throughout the hair. This season is a much more believable look.”
Spa Adriana’s Coast Line Blondes series is based on the natural colors found on Long Island’s beaches. They include:
Southampton Sand – A blend of sheer blondes and natural tones
Pebble – Bohemian, a browner-shade of blonde
Dune – Ideal for brunettes and redheads, with a hint of fire
The products used to create this collections are Aveda’s Shades of Enlightenment blonding series.
