Spa Adriana and Jumelle Designs Debut Winter/Holiday Collection

Drama took center stage at the launch of the new winter/holiday fashion and beauty collection from Spa Adriana and Jumelle Designs, a new clothing design duo from Long Island. The launch took place at the “Fashion FOUR-ward” Runway Show at FOUR in Melville.
Teams from Spa Adriana and Jumelle Designs developed hair and makeup that complimented the lush, vibrant, sexy frocks from Jumelle, so the completed looks worked seamlessly together. The beauty elements played off of the strengths of the clothing, and vice versa.
Regarding winter beauty trends: “Winter will feature more drama, more bold looks – from the beauty and fashion side – than we’ve seen in recent past,” said Adriana Vater, creative director and co-founder, Spa Adriana, who designed all of the hair and makeup for the winter/holiday collection. “Hair will have more height and lots of texture. At the show we designed an upswept look with a tight bun in the back, for a look that’s tailored but still a bit on the wild side. Makeup is dramatic as well, with lots of darker berry colors on the lips.”
The Jumelle line showcased big, wide belts that cinched in flirty, feminine dresses with lots of sex appeal. Slinky forms crafted with exotic fabrics underscored a playful attitude. Fashion was complimented beautifully with hair and makeup from Spa Adriana, which designed looks tailored to each specific piece.
